Showa Kinen Park Flower Festival from  March to May.
They feature different types of flower, from Sakura, Tulips and Poppy.

The flowers match each other very well and create a harmonic play of colors.

The little pond contribute to the calm atmosphere.
It was relaxing while being surrounded by nature.

Pretty Tulip fields!

Such a colorful landscape like carpet of flowers.

Another flower field full of poppies is in full bloom as well.

Tasty Broth, Great Ramen!

One famous Tonkotsu ramen (pork based soup) in Tokyo is Kyushu Jangara Ramen (九州じゃんがら).
Kyushu (九州 Kyūshū?, lit. "Nine Provinces") is the southernmost of the four main islands that make up Japan, and it is home to their infamous creation, tonkotsu ramen.

Harajuku Kyushu Janagara Ramen's location was convenient, walking distance from Harajuku station and the entrance to the Yoyogi Park / Meiji Shrine.

I ordered the No.1 recommended which is  the Kyushu Jangara.
1080 yen per order.

The Kyushu jangara has thin tender noodles.
The pork well seasoned.
And, the broth rich and flavorful.

Kyushu Jangara features thin slices if chashu(pork), big, thick, tasty pieces of braised pork belly. There’s also marinated cod roe (mentaiko), bamboo shoots, chopped green onions and poached egg among others.

For a Ramen lover like me,
You won't be disappointed!

Definitely a good place for Ramen.

Showa Kinen Park is a very popular destination to visit during Spring and Autumn. I could say this has been may favorite park here in Japan.

Showa Kinen Park is at Tachikawa, around 30 minutes by train from Shinjuku station.

They have Flower Festival from March to May. They feature different types of flower, from Cherry Blossom, Tulips and Poppy.

This year I was so in time for the full bloom Cherry Blossoms(Sakura).

I decided to separate my blog for the Flower Festival and this full bloom Cherry Blossoms..

Visiting this park early is highly recommended because Showa Kinen park is absolutely huge!! Trust me!! And also they close early (5pm )

How Beautiful!

I was here last year, since I kinda know where to go exactly inside the park, this time I decided to rent bicycle. You can rent bicycles for 400yen(adult)/260yen (children) for 3 hours at Tachikawa Gate, Nishi Tachikawa Gate and Sunagawa Gate.

I also got to taste the  Soft  Cream flavored Sakura(Cherry Blossom).  I guess one of the ingredient is the Cherry Blossom Leaves.. got to taste one to know one!

This has also been one way to enjoy walking around the park, eating Soft Cream while enjoying beautiful scenery of Sakura Trees.

Visitors can enjoy walking along the river while viewing the flowers in full bloom.

The garden of cherry trees where visitors can have parties under the Yoshino cherry blossoms.

For a second, I thought we were in a different world of pink snowflakes falling gently on our skin.

The combination of the cherry blossoms with the large flower beds ’dame's violets are worth watching.

The pond was so beautiful as it turned to white pond full of Cherry Blossom Petals.

There are also large flower beds of rape blossoms still worth watching.

It was such a perfect sunset.
